5% For the Community

Grosh's Lawn Service is committed to our community and giving back.

Since our humble beginning in 1990 Grosh's Lawn Service has for over 29 years given back to our local community 5% or more of our profit to make our community better and a wonderful place to live. We believe in helping our community and sharing our blessings with others as we have been blessed. We all profit!

Ruth Ann Monroe Primary School

Hi Tom, Thank you so much for the rocks you donated to Ruth Ann Monroe Primary School for our Kindness Rock project! Each of our 500+ students were able to paint a rock with a picture or words that will inspire other students to be kind to one another. The rocks will soon be placed in our schools front flower beds as a reminder as students enter and leave our school to spread kindness wherever they go! The students and staff here at RAMPS appreciate YOUR kindness and generosity! Thanks again!

Tip # 284

Grosh's Lawn Service Tip of the Week # 284 September 22, 2019

When should you take your hummingbird feeders down here in the Hagerstown MD area?

A common myth says that if you leave your feeders up too long, hummingbirds will fail to migrate. This is simply not true. Hummingbirds migrate due to environmental cues. Every so often some will overwinter in Maryland. These birds either were blown off course or are inexperienced youngsters.

After October 1st, if you don't see any signs of hummingbirds visiting for 2 weeks, then it is usually safe to take down your feeders.

Contact Tom the Landscaper today at GroshsLawnService.com  for help with your landscaping and lawn care services here in the Hagerstown MD area and Washington County Maryland.
